My Story

Wednesday is a 6-month-old, 35-pound "pocket" Great Pyrenees. She is on the small side for her breed (and Mom and Dad were both Pyrenees) and we don't expect her to get much larger than 55 to 60 pounds as an adult. Wednesday came in with her siblings Wren and Wylie and her Mon and they were in very rough shape on arrival. They were part of a larger farm hoarding situation and they were underweight and in pretty miserable condition. Wednesday is now a happy and healthy girl. Wednesday is a quiet and slightly timid soul, but she loves other dogs and she will play like a fiend if given the opportunity. She is looking for zero trouble and has no natural enemies - she'd probably help an injured squirrel because she's that kind of very good girl. She is good with cats and dogs and people old enough to be past the screaming years. What she needs is a home with a fenced yard, snacks and playmates. She is never going to be the social director of your life as she is a wallflower kind of girl, but she is sweet and kind and will make someone a fantastic pet. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please apply online, at https://bigfluffydogs.com/adopt/adoption-application/ then email [email protected]. Our main website, www.bigfluffydogs.com has more information about us and the rescue process. NOTE TO EMAILERS FROM PETFINDER: WE DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAIL INQUIRIES WITHOUT AN APPLICATION. WE REGRET WE CANNOT RESPOND TO EVERY EMAIL, BUT UNLESS YOU FILL OUT AN APPLICATION, WE DO NOT KNOW YOU EXIST. All known information about an individual dog is provided in its listing. We do our best to provide accurate information, but adopters should understand that each home is different and the dog may behave differently in a new home. Dogs are creatures of their environment and you help make the dog what it will be.
