Wanda and Wendel are never far from each other. They wash each other and snuggle together all night long. They are not timid or fearful when it comes to bigger dogs. They're having a blast playing with the other dogs in their foster home.
Neither Wanda nor Wendel have had any accidents in the house and they don't beg at the table. They're also so short that they can't counter surf either!! They crate up easily and are just a blast to have around. If you want to spend your days smiling and laughing, get your applications in for these pups!
Update 10/5/08: Cute little siblings! In the third photo, wanda is on the right, pictured with her brother, Wendel. They'd love to find a forever home together.
Notes from our partner shelter: Wanda and Wendel are very obviously brother and sister!! They were even thrown out of a truck window at the same time!! The woman directly behind the truck stopped and picked them up, they were not hurt, just sad and confused.
They seem to have been spoiled house dogs at one time, they like canned food and had collar markings on their fur. They are not currently in a home, so we don't know if they are housetrained, but it is probable.
Both are happy, socialized little dogs, about 1 yr old or so, Wanda is about 10lbs and Wendel is about 15lbs. They look like chihuahua/doxie mixes.
They do not have to go together, but would love to!! Discount offered on adoption fee if adopted together.
Both get along with kids and other dogs. They have not been cat tested yet.
Families w/children under 5 would not be an appropriate home for this size dog.
Renters must have 5 yr stable rental history and references provided w/application.
