My Story

Wally is an 8-year-old tri-colored male who was found as a stray in Macon. He is getting along fine with the other dogs in his foster home and seems fascinated with the cat there. He is friendly with all. This poor gentleman has obviously dealt with some seriously painful issues in his life because he cowers and cries when he thinks he is in trouble. He can't deal with raised voices and he even cowers when someone gestures too broadly. It is like he is constantly expecting to be hit or kicked. He gobbles his food as if he fears he won't get enough. Wally needs a calm, peaceful, patient household. We hope that with some time learning to trust people in his foster home, Wally will overcome his terrible memories.
