Wally

Wally is a great dog; he loves following his foster parent around and will go into his crate to hang out. He has a good appetite and is learning how to sit for a treat or wait for his meal. Although he hasn't mastered playing with toys yet, we are working on that. On a scale from 1 to 10 gauging energy level, Wally checks in at a solid '4', perfect for most families. he gets along well with cats and other dogs but has not yet been tested with children at this point. He doesn't fuss about going in his crate and seems to be fine in it when his foster family have gone out, although he gets very excited once he is let out of it. Wally is great on leash and loves to go for walks. At his previous shelter, he was housed with other smaller dogs and he did very well sharing the space! Wally has a gentle disposition and loves to cuddle. Wally loves to be held and being loved by someone! We're not sure why, but anytime he encounters artificial grass he can't resist but to roll around on it. perhaps it serves as a back scratcher...?
