Meet Wallie! This big boy arrived to his foster home in New England on Saturday 7/26/08. His foster Mom says that he's a really wonderful dog. She thinks that he is a black lab/newfoundland mix. Read more about him below!
Wallie is a big black dog - the kind of dog most overlooked at shelters. But, he's got so many amazing things going for him that we couldn't let him languish in a kennel. Wallie is 115 pounds, and is 2 and 1/2 years old, so he is done growing at this point. He is housebroken, good with kids, good with other dogs, and even good with cats. AND, to top it all off, Wallie has been clicker trained and whistle trained. He knows basic commands (such as sit and stay) and is SUCH a good boy. He was turned in by his owner to a shelter in Kentucky, and they listed the reason for relinquish as "not able to take proper care of him due to busy schedule". Wallie is hoping that you will give him a chance to have a true forever home. Can't get much better than this guy!!
Wallie is neutered, up to date on shots, and ready to go!
