Wallaby is a super playful and feisty pup! If he could, he’d play with his canine foster sibling all day long. He can get in a playful mood with toys, but less often. He loves his food & treats! He’s food motivated, especially when he’s focused and not too distracted. When meeting new people, Wallaby is very friendly. He loves people and wants to see everyone on the street! He is especially interested in children - he’ll go to their feet, sits and looks up at them with his tail wagging! When meeting other dogs, Wallaby is playful and friendly, he’s confident and not afraid of larger dogs. He’s been great on leash! He is still getting used to his crate - he calms down and sleeps in there during the day/night but doesn’t like when his fosters are out of sight. Wallaby is working on his potty training! He’s a husky mix so he is vocal and his fosters are working on his barking/crying when he sees people leave. The ideal home for Wallaby would be with a committed family that will provide continuous & consistent training so this pup can thrive! He’d also love an active family who could support and enrich his high energy level by going on lots of walks - he even likes running! Wallaby could share his home with another dog as well as children. He hasn’t formally met cats but given his young age, he most likely would be fine.
