If you are looking for a 'Lap Dog' then this is your guy! Wabert is an 8 - 9 year old purebred Chihuahua. He was found as a stray with a broken pelvis. He was dragging his hind quarters thru the streets when animal control picked him up. He waited patiently for 5 days for his owners to come get him but no one showed up. He was so flea infested and skinny ...he was clearly not taken care of. When his foster mom went to the shelter, he was going to be put down the next morning, she took him home with her. He couldn't really hold his hind quarters up at that point. Since then, with medical attention, love and God's will this little guy is like a new boy. He is a miracle... He is walking, running and acting like a happy healthy little man.....he has the sweetest, kindest, most humble personality ever. He is kind and forgiving to all people. he is kind and gentle with all animals. He is a quiet loving guy. He has NEVER growled and he NEVER bites! I have never heard him bark....I have only heard him cry. He pretty much stays in his foster mom's lap most of the time. He isn't great with stairs yet but is working on it. He carries his left back leg sometimes still. He really is a miracle. Wabert is available for adoption to a special calm home. Wabert is a lap dog all the way.

We love this dog so much and he has only been with us for a few months now. He , as all of our dogs, can only go to the perfect 'matched home'.
