enior Hearts Rescue and Renewal is the only licensed senior dog rescue organization in Western Pennsylvania. We do not have a shelter or a public facility. ALL of our dogs reside in foster homes in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. We are a 100% volunteer organization. Please respect our volunteers' time. If a dog is listed on PetFinder, he/she IS available for adoption. We cannot reply to messages, phone calls, and emails about a dog until we have received, reviewed, and approved an adoption application. You can meet a dog ONLY after we have completed our adoption approval process. And now a few words about the sweetest Yorkie, Miss Vivienne… I'm here to tell you I am ready for adoption. I am 11 years young and weigh 7 pounds. My foster mum tells me I am perfect. I think she's right. I am calm. I love walks. I like car rides. I enjoy meeting new people. I like all dogs, though I don't want to live with big ones because I could accidentally get hurt. Really, I enjoy everything life has to offer. I am house trained. I am crate trained. I am quiet when left alone. I like cuddles and kisses. I have energy and spunk. You would never know I am a senior. I like getting baths. I am in good health. And ...I can stare in your eyes and melt your heart. I can be adopted within a 2 hour driving radius of Pittsburgh, PA. I can live with older respectful children, other dogs, and even cats. I do require people that will take me on walks in addition to cuddling me. Extra points for people who will put bows in my hair and buy me fancy sweaters for the winter.
