I am 7 years old and weigh 25 pounds. I need a new home with no other pets as I tend to be aggressive with them. I am being fostered in Boise, ID. I am a sweet girl who loves human attention. I can lay beside you but I am just as happy on the couch or in my bed as long as I am near my human. I love to be pet and scratched. I ride well in the car and like to get pup-cups at Starbucks. Exploring the yard is one of my favorite things. I spent the first 4 years of my life as a puppy mill breeder dog and it took me a long time to build up confidence and not be scared. I do still shake and avoid you if l get nervous. I sleep in my kennel at night, and I usually stay in my kennel when my human needs to run errands. Someone who is retired or works from home would be best for me as I am not used to being kenneled more than a couple hours at most. I do enjoy dog treats and chew bones (no rawhide or pig ears) and will occasionally play with a toy. I am a very laid back dog and easy going. Here's a little more about me: Housetrained? All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption. MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing. MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
