Violet is a 5 year old, 12 pound english cream dachshund. She has endured a lot in her short five years but is making quick progress with people in her foster home. She shows how excited she will get when you speak in a happy voice.
She is learning to use potty pads and went potty outside for the first time recently.
Violet will be spayed and have a dental in mid-August when she is done with her heat cycle and be ready for adoption a week or so after that in late August. She will be looking for a quiet home with friendly, outgoing companion dogs. She will do best with older kids 11+ as opposed to young children as loud noises or sudden movements scare her.
Violet's ideal home:
1) Friendly companion dogs
2) No young children
3) Securely fenced yard for potty training/and because she loves to spend time outdoors.
