My Story

Violet is ready to find her forever home! Violet is a gorgeous mama doggie that we saw at a local shelter when she was just about to have her babies. We knew we had to get her out of there and into a foster home, and luckily, a foster stepped up so we could save her <3. She gave birth to some adorableeee babies! All of them had found their forever homes and now it's Violet's turn. Violet is about 70lbs-80lbs. We do not know what breed of doggie she is, but our best guess would be a mastiff mix. Violet is a shy gal, but she warms up quickly. She loves to snuggle and hang out with her humans. Her foster family adores her. She is also a big fan of other doggies and plays very well with them. Violet is gorgeous - her photos don't do her justice :) Violet has separation anxiety, meaning she can be destructive if left alone for extended periods of time. This is completely manageable for the right family, don't let it deter you! Violet is also heartworm positive. She is currently going through treatment. Heartworm disease is not contagious to you or your other pets. It is extremely manageable. Every dog that we have treated has been cured of heartworm disease thanks to Spay Illinois. This is another factor that shouldn't deter you - Violet deserves a home. Any family would be lucky to add this beautiful girl to their family.
