Violet

Violet is a love bug to her people, but cautious of others. She takes her role as her family's protector very seriously. She is thought to be a German shepherd and golden retriever mix with maybe some border collie. She was born July 25, 2023, weighs 53 pounds, is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, HW negative and on preventative. She sleeps all night in her crate and is house trained.   Violet loves to cuddle like a baby with her humans, play with her chew toys, going on walks, and would love to have a doggy friend to play with. She does okay with cats, but does try to herd anything that moves faster than a walk whether it is another dog, cats, other animals or people both young and old. She sees any type of bird as a chew toy so would do best in a home without pet birds or chickens. Her ideal home is one where the mom or dad work from home or part time.  Please remember that puppies need a lot of time, patience, positive reinforcement, training and love. If you have that to give and want to meet Violet, please request an application! A fenced yard and vet reference are required. We adopt in the DFW area only (within a 1 hour's drive from Terrell) as we deliver our pets to their new homes.
