Vino

Vino, aka Vinny, is a 2 year old dachshund with wild boar coloring and is roughly 14 pounds. He came to our rescue after he was having some behavioral issues barking and or nipping at strangers coming into the home. He can be standoffish with new people and dogs but warms up with time. Vino will be working to slowly and safely be socialized in his foster home. He's done well so far but his forever home must be prepared to do the same. His ideal home will not just have dachshund experience but will be skilled at socializing dogs. His ideal home: *Has friendly companion dogs of a similar size *Experience socializing dogs *Is not in a busy urban environment *Has a staggered schedule so he is not alone long hours Vinny will be available once he has been to our vet for a urinalysis as we want to verify there are not crystals in his urine.
