Vinnie SMILES! It’s so cute! He is a very good little boy! He is a 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier and weighs about 20#. His family surrendered him because they were going through several changes in their lives and Vinnie didn’t like the changes too much. He started to urinate in the house as a form of protest and they just didn’t have the time to work with him anymore. So, here he is, looking for a new home that does have the time for him, that is stable and can give him the time and exercise he needs.

Vinnie gets along with other dogs, cats, and children. He prefers it if kids don’t charge at him, but he likes to play with them. Fetch is a favorite game.

To have a good quality of like, Vinnie needs a fenced in yard so he can run around to his heart’s content. He particularly likes to play with dogs or cats his own size.

Vinnie does know some commands: SIT, ROLLOVER, LAY DOWN, SHAKE, SPEAK, STAY, and FETCH. Obviously, he wants to please and will do anything for food!

He is crate trained, so re-housetraining him should be easy. He likes the comfort of a bed and doesn’t like the cold weather, but who does?

This dog's adoption fee is $250 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, Lyme and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the Avid microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
