Vinnie

Vinnie's journey from a broken stray to endless play can be found on Lionel's Legacy's Facebook page. He is a remarkable, resilient little fellow that has captured our hearts and we anticipate he will capture yours as well. He is a really nice and easy going guy. Vinnie is perfect with every human and animal he meets. He attaches to people easily and wants to spend as much time together as possible. He loves to rest his head on a lap while sitting on the couch, but can never be left alone on furniture because he could jump down and injure himself. He must also be supervised around/carried down steps for this reason. From foster: At night, Vinnie sleeps in his dog bed at the base of our bed. He sleeps in his sweater and stays in bed until I wake up and take him out to potty. Vinnie does great with pottying outside when we are home. When away, a belly band is useful as he seems to have accidents when we are gone. About once a day he barks in my face for attention, but it is short lived and can be diverted to a toy. He also makes gremlin noises when I first leave, but they are quiet and nothing that would disrupt the neighbors. He loves to chew on little toys and balls. We recently purchased a stroller and he is an angel riding it; seems grateful to be out in the world with us. He is a dog that can go anywhere... Home Depot, parks, restaurants, etc. He is great with our dogs and cat, but really he loves people more than anything. He may be 20 pounds but loves nothing more than to make your legs go numb by sitting on your lap.
