My Story

Meet Victoria! Sad beginning for this sweet girl. She was picked up as a stray along with her litter of puppies, only to find out, she was expecting a second litter. She was underweight ( 75 lbs.)and scared. She has been in a foster home since January 2024. Had her second litter of puppies in February. She had nine healthy puppies that have all gone off to families of their own. Victoria was a great momma! Victoria spent the next few weeks recuperating, relaxing and putting on some much needed pounds. She was spayed in May, where they discovered she was HW+. She had her treatment in June and is on the road to recovery. Victoria needs to catch a break- this sweet girl just wants some love and attention. Victoria is the sweetest, most gentle dog. She is crate trained, house trained, doesn't chew and rarely barks. She is good around other dogs, does not show any signs of food aggression and doesn't mind her feet being touched. This huge (now 95lb.) baby girl is a love bug. She wants scratches, cuddles and kisses all day long! She will follow you everywhere you go. If she can't find you, she will find a shoe, sock, clothing of yours to lay by, for comfort until you return. Victoria DESERVES a forever home. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step.
