Victor is a handsome, happy, purebred Rough Collie who is available for adoption in early August. He is 6 years old, he weighs 80 pounds, and he has a thick black tri coat. Victor is housebroken, crate-trained, and he knows his basic obedience commands. He is a perfect gentleman when walking on leash and he is a great passenger in the car – he LOVES to go for a ride! Victor loves all people all the time. He has never met a stranger! Victor is a medium Velcro dog who likes to keep an eye on his humans but he does not get underfoot. Victor also gets along great with other dogs! He is not super playful, but he does enjoy short games of chase if another dog starts the chase. Mostly he keeps to himself and happily watches all the action. Victor is a medium energy dog with a nice off switch. He loves to play with balls and toys, patrol the yard sniffing the lizards and bugs, go for walks and go ANYWHERE in the car, and when it is time to relax, Victor loves snuggles, pets and getting brushed. He also gets along nicely with cats! The ideal family for Victor is ready to share their lives with this terrific, happy “buddy” of a dog. A fenced yard is required, another easygoing dog is fine but not required, and any children in the home should be at least 12 years old. Victor is an amazing guy and he will make someone a great pal.
