Meet Vespa, a sweet girl who would be that wallflower at a school dance, if you let her. Vespa is 4 years old, and only weighs 43 pounds. Vespa and a male dog were abandoned in a home, when their owner was evicted. They were left there for a week, alone. So being that shy, wallflower when it comes to humans can be expected. Any potential adopters need to know that she will need extra time and patience to gain trust. Helping to build her confidence will also help to build that bond with Vespa. Vespa does keep a clean kennel, so this does suggest she was potty trained in her home. Vespa does need to be the only female dog in the home, but she promises that once she has built up that loyal bond with you, she will be all the female dog you need! She would need to meet any male dogs in the home! Give your life a little Vespa! Vespa is living in a foster home. We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
