Puppy brain is a wonderful thing. They can flip from toys-food-squirrel! in like 5 seconds flat, and you just never know what's next. Veronica's puppy brain has the loveliest plot twist. She's so busy! curious! moving! shaking! everywhere! and then...someone reaches down and pets her. She halts all other activities, gazes lovingly at that person and softly leans in for more.
Veronica is a 7-month-old pittie mix (possibly with Rottweiler and Belgian Malinois, like her littermate?), with a lithe, svelte build who'll maybe be 50-ish lanky pounds someday. She has a subtle approach to meeting people, and she has a particularly delicate touch when greeting even the smallest of folks, so she's fantastic with kids. She'll run and play with them too and still keep that puppy brain of hers tuned to their frequency, to make sure everyone's having fun. She's past that baby-puppy stage, which means she sleeps all night AND she is what we call puppy house trained: she'll save her business for outside, so long as her people remember to take her there. Also, she does well in her crate, so you can leave her in there when you're gone, and no one has to worry about anything (least of all, Veronica).
Veronica's puppy brain definitely has a setting dedicated to detecting the slightest hint of a squeaky toy. Her ears perk with the hope that she can get her paws on one of those and delight in squeaking the heck out of it. She loves every toy and will play and play with them, but those squeakers are sure hard to beat. She's a playful girl who brings the fun with both the humans and the other dogs. After all that playing, with hopefully some hugs and pets mixed in along the way, Veronica wants all the cuddles. She'll nuzzle in with you, whether it's just on the couch or for the night, and nothing beats that feeling. She truly cares for her people and appreciates being close to them.
Veronica is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $275. Meet & greets will be scheduled with approved adopters from PawsitiveTailsKC.org.
