This mama's ready for some TLC!
Hello there! My name is Vera, and I'm a 2-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix. I was recently pulled off the euthanasia list at the Riverside Shelter (along with my three puppies), and I'm so excited to finally find my furever home!
I'm told that I'm just the sweetest girl, and true to my mama self, I'm loving and caring, too. I like to play with doggies and kiddos, but I'm also just as happy chilling next to you on the couch. I also enjoy squeaky toys, sunbathing, and getting lots of pets.
As far as my training goes, I'm fully potty-trained, but I still get a bit nervous while on a leash. I'm not the anxious type and do just fine on my own when left behind. My health is in great shape, and I'm scheduled to get spayed.
Since I'm such an easy-going gal, I'd thrive in a home either with doggie/human siblings or without. All I need is plenty of love and attention, and as long as my family gives me those things, I'll do just fine!
