When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. Hi, my name is Venus Nova, and I'm a beautiful female GSD with an estimated DOB of 7/3/23 who was transferred from a shelter where I arrived as a stray and nobody came to claim me. The volunteers have described me as submissive with people when I first meet them, and it takes me a bit to warm up. I've done great with both large and small dogs, so having a home with another dog might help offer me comfort. I'm house trained, crate trained and I have good leash manners. I do like to perform a squeakectomy on stuffed toys, and I may chew on non-doggy items, so potential owners will need to work with me on this. Given my young age, I will need an adopter who will continue with my training and socialization with people so that I'll grow up to be a well-balanced adult dog.
