She's a cutie! Ventura was a stray picked up by animal control and rescued by CARES when her time was up. She looks like a purebred Labrador Retriever and is a petite little thing at about 57#. She is about 2 years old and just the happiest dog ever!
Ventura is crate trained and appears to be house trained. We don't know if she is good with other dogs or cats. She doesn't go crazy around them, but we haven't had her outside with them yet.
She is a velcro dog--she stays by your side and just looks up longingly to see what's next. She just wants to be loved! She has energy, so she would be a great addition to an active family or a great jogging partner.
Ventura is great! Who wants to be the lucky people to add her to their family?
This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning good doggie manners.
