Hi I'm Velma, and I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary here at the rescue.
I'm such a sweet girl, and I love my people! I would be the perfect snuggle buddy.
I'm about 3 years old and weigh 65lbs.
I get so excited when I see my people that sometimes I don't know my own strength!
Because of this, my rescue mom feels like I'd be best matched with a family who doesn't have small children.
I would do great with a chill, submissive male dog to play with and am housed with a dog just like that here at the rescue.
I also don't appreciate cats being in my space, and would really love a home without cats.
I have lots of energy and would love to go for walks or hikes. I'm currently working on my leash manners and would really benefit from someone who continues to work on that with me.
