Say hello to Velma!
She is an 8 year old Black Lab mix who weighs about 57 pounds. Velma is a shy girl who is still adjusting to life at the shelter. She arrived in our care in need of medical attention for severe skin issues and body condition, but she has been doing better each and every day. Velma is very sensitive with new people and needs a slow introduction before she is comfortable. She has lived with dogs in the past and seems to enjoy the company of another dog after a slow introduction. Since Velma is so sensitive, if there are kid sin her forever home they need to be ages 16 and older.
