Vegas

I'm Vegas, a male brown Terrier mix who is about two years old and weighs about thirty-three pounds with natural ears and tail. I was turned into a shelter with some serious injuries. I can't tell people what happened, but based on my injuries, they assumed I was hit by a car. The shelter contacted SRT right away and asked them to help me. They picked me up that day and got me to the orthopedic surgeon. X-rays showed I had a fracture on my left front radius ulna which required surgery. I also had a repair to the acetabulum on the left side of my pelvis. AND, there was a small fracture on the right side of my pelvis with a fracture to the ilium. .  I've been through a lot and don't plan to gamble on beating a car across the street. I was hospitalized over three weeks for all the surgeries. I'm happy to say that I'm now ready for adoption. I'm house and crate trained and will need some work learning to walk on a leash as that wasn't something done at my former home. I'm good with other dogs, grooming and obviously at the vet.
