VALERIE is a 5 year-old and 15 pound purebred Beagle that was picked up by animal control as a stray. America's favorite breed does have a tendency to wander and must always wear proper identification. Additionally, the Beagle must always have a fenced in yard, and should never be left alone outside. Hounds follow a scent and that is probably what happened to poor VALERIE. Thankfully, she was not killed while on the prowl. Now safe in foster care, she is showing the fantastic Beagle personality. These dogs are just so loving and eager to please. VALERIE needs plenty of exercise, including a brisk daily walk. Beagles often enjoy the company of another small dog. This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
