My Story

Meet Ursus, the dashing lad that is the epitome of a gentle bear, hence his name! Born in May 2019, this big fella found himself at the shelter due to a treatable URI, but that hasn't dampened his spirits. Ursus is brimming with youthful energy and goofy charm, bounding around like a puppy with a secret stash of energy. His playful antics and silly expressions are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and keep you entertained for hours. With his handsome looks and easy-going nature, he's a head-turner on every walk, especially with his leash demeanor that's nothing short of gentlemanly. Now, let's talk about his social life. Ursus isn't exactly a "bro's bro." While he prefers the company of female and smaller dogs over his male counterparts, he's a social butterfly who believes every stranger is just a friend he hasn't met. But wait, there's more! Ursus is a smarty-paws. He's got that mischievous twinkle in his eye, the kind that says, "I know where the treats are hidden, and I'm not telling!" This bubbly pup loves to show off his playful side, and his smart, curious mind makes every day an adventure. So, if you're looking for a loyal companion who's part goofball, part philosopher, and all heart, Ursus is your guy. Adopt him, and you'll have a friend for life!
