URGENT- Java

This is a beautiful female American Bulldog in desperate need of rescue. She is located in a shelter in Belleville, Illinois. From the shelter staff we received the following information:

"Java is 2 years old- she has been tested with cats and seemed uninterested in them. She just wagged her tail and watched them - she didn't bark or jump at them or make a fuss. She is dog friendly and does great with kids. She weighs 62 lbs. We don't really know too much about her otherwise. She was tied up outside all the time in someone's backyard. She seems to just shy away from things she is afraid of or uncertain of."

Java is heartworm positive, but this is a very treatable condition that should not alter her life. She will be euthanized if someone does not come forward to adopt or rescue her. She will be fully vetted prior to adoption. PLEASE HELP!!! Time is running out- this has been updated July 5, 2008.....
