Bruno was originally brought to the shelter after being found abandoned along the side of the road. The lady who took him in until she was able to bring him to the shelter told staff that he did really well with her dogs, and her goats and chickens. Sadly, it is likely that at sometime in his life he has been abused, as he is missing some toes on each of his hind legs, as though he had been dragged behind a vehicle. Despite the injuries, he has recovered nicely and lopves people.
He has appeared with shelter volunteers on TV already, and loves to be a part of things. He has been dog friendly with many of the other shelter dogs, but might do best with a family without other male dogs, although he got along well with his finder's dogs. He's anxious to please, and would like to be a lap dog- he doesn't realize he is a bit large for that! We are told he will be a wonderful dog for the right family. Please help us help Bruno!!
