This is Bruce. He was originally found as a stray and no one came looking for him. He was actually adopted but returned as one of the family members has cancer and could not care for him any longer. He looks to be about 2 years of age and probably weighs about 55-60 lbs. He is short and stocky. He has all the characteristics of an American Bulldog but his ears tend to want to go up and he is much smaller than a purebred American Bulldog. He also has some mannerisms of a French Bulldog so we are thinking he may be a mix of the two.
Bruce gets along with dogs as long as they are not un-neutered males. He would do best as an only pet or with a female dog. He would not be good around cats. He loves going for walks and does pretty well on a leash. He likes to play with toys and loves having his belly rubbed. He is neutered and up to date on all of his shots and he has been heartworm tested (negative). Someone familiar with the "bully breeds" would be best for Bruce. He is housebroken and crate trained.
