Wallabe is an Australian Terrier born Sept. 22, 2008. He is the “middle” boy and is darling, active and playful like the rest of his siblings. His mother “Bindi” was seized by the State of Kansas along with many other dogs from a puppy mill and she was lucky enough to raise her puppies in a foster home. The Australian, like most other terriers, is very active and just as sweet. They need plenty of exercise and attention to keep them happy. They are wonderful housedogs and love to cuddle as much as play and can be great “alarm” dogs. Their coat being of a wirey nature, will need some professional grooming to keep them neat and tidy but is fairly low shed/low maintenance. They are a breed that was originally developed for controlling rodents and snakes, so they are normally feisty little guys.
All puppies and dogs are as up to date as possible on all of their vaccines. Any animal leaving the shelter will be neutered or spayed before their adoption day. Any dog that is sixth months of age or older will be tested for Heart worms and if found negative, will be kept on Heart worm prevention.
