Unicorn came to the shelter as a stray so we don't know much about where she came from. She has been very sweet with staff since arriving here. We guess her to be about 10 years old so this senior lady is looking for a quiet home to live out the rest of her years to the fullest. The finder's said Unicorn did great with their kids. She was tested with cats in the shelter and doesn't mind them at all. She was more interested in receiving affection from her handler. Unicorn was tolerant of other dogs in playgroup but did growl and snap at dogs too close in her space. She was adopted and returned a few days later due to going after the other dog in the home. She is indifferent towards dogs in the same vicinity as her, as long as they are not in her personal bubble. We think in Unicorn's old age she is going to prefer to be the only dog in the home. Unicorn needs some help learning how to properly walk on leash, as well as learning that a crate can be a safe space for her. This lazy girl is looking for a couch to nap on and an owner to love.
