Meet Tyson! Tyson is a seven year old boxer golden retriever mix...or so we’re told. He has a very slight build and has lots of energy. He would make a fantastic walking or hiking partner. He is not a fan of his crate, but he does tolerate it after a few minutes of whining. Tyson is very interested in cats, but is fine with those who are dog savvy. He seems to be OK with dogs in the home, however, he is very reactive to other dogs and people while out for a walk. Tyson is working very hard on this skill and is making great strides using dog treats. Tyson is a little nervous when meeting new people he needs to gain your trust over a couple of days and then he seems to settle down. Tyson needs a home with no small children as their high energy feed into his nervousness. He would love a fenced in yard where he could chase a ball or a stick, and he loves long walks. Tyson is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Applicants must live within 60minutes driving distance of Mercer County, NJ. A vet check will be conducted for each application for me and a solid vet history for current and past pets will be verified.
