Meet Turnip!
Turnip is a fun 2 year old mini pittie! At only 20 lbs he is a super cutie! Turnip loves loves to play, enjoys walks, and playing ball! Turnip would need a home with no kids, but does well with dogs with a slow introduction. He is very food motivated and is really good at sitting and dancing for treats. Turnip came to us from a high kill shelter and looking for his second chance at a great life! He would love to meet you!
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
