Tully is a now 1yo old pitbull mix who was rescued from Mississippi. He is a very sweet and good-natured dog who seems to love everyone. He is about 75# and will probably be ~80-90 when he fills out. He is tall and long (think small great dane size). He is relatively calm for a dog his age although he does loves to chew. He is great with other dogs yet can play rough. It took him some time, but he is now okay with the resident cat in his foster home. He is food motivated, quick to learn and he is eager to please. Other than his chewing, his only other "issue" is that he easily gets carsick. Dramamine prevents it but requires some pre-planning.
He is crate-trained and house-trained. He is neutered, vaccinated, HW negative, and has been dewormed. He was facing euthanasia after a hip injury from being hit by a car in the south. He has now undergone corrective surgery at our rescue vet, has been healing great, and should live a healthy, active, pain-free life.
His adoption fee is $450. We are an all volunteer rescue and 100% of our adoption fees go into the dogs.
