Tuffy is a larger, standard size Doxie/Basset Hound mix weighing in at 36 pounds. He has now joined Doggie Weight Watchers and loves his veges and has lost a few pounds with a few more to go. He has impeccable house manners, gets along well with other dogs and even though he is older, would made a wonderful family dog. Tuffy came into rescue when his owner died and other family members were unable to take him. He loves to play ball and if you won't throw a ball, he will bat a ball around with his paws. He is a lovely, gentle guy that would like to find his "forever" home. We believe Tuffy is approximately 10 years young and still has plenty of energy. Tuffy would not do well in a home with no cats.
