Tuffy

We are a matched based adoption agency, if you see a dog in our program in which you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.org and one of our adoptions counselors will be in touch once your application has been screened. Please note that we do require dogs to meet all members of the family including existing pets in the home before finalizing during your in home adoption. Tuffy is about 2 years old, neutered, up to date on vetting, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. Meet Tuffy! He was rescued from a horrific hoarding house/ neglect situation. Tuffy and many other dogs were left abandoned in a small trailer home with no food or water and were living in mountains of trash. They nearly starved to death, luckily we were called to the scene and got them out in time. He is now a healthy weight and ready for the next chapter of his life. Tuffy is a ball of energy and absolutely loves to play in our tiny dog play groups. Once he loves a person, he is your BEST FRIEND for life! He does get a bit overwhelmed with young children, so a home with kids over 10 would be best for him. He's still learning the ways of city life, but is blossoming into a great companion!
