My Story

Tucker, a Clumber Spaniel puppy was rescued from the life of a "Puppy Mill" breeder that was intended for him.
This happy sweet baby would have known a life of fear, hunger and neglect. His spirit would have been broken with harsh treatment and lack of the human contact he so enjoys!

Tucker is Micro-chipped. This was done to not out of love to protect him, but to identify him in the stock pile of Puppy Mill "inventory" dogs. Tucker was to be an active part of what is known as "The Dog Industry".

Tucker is a happy loving little puppy who learns very quickly. He has in the last week learned to always use the "potty pads" inside and to enjoy walks on lead in his new harness. Actually, Tucker runs and bounces much more than he walks, as any young puppy should do.
Tucker knows his name and will come when he is called. Tucker loves to follow his "Amma" around and loves to play in the sunshine.
Tucker is a quiet but certainly active puppy who will play with his toys and not cry when he has to spend some time alone.

Tucker is a wonderful example of the Clumber Spaniel breed.

The Clumber Spaniel:
The Clumber Spaniel is an ancient breed, some say they originated in France, others say England. Clumber Spaniels differ so widely from other members of the spaniel group, their origin will probably always remain a mystery.
Temperament : (Taken from AKC Breed Standard)
The Clumber Spaniel is a gentle, loyal and affectionate dog. He possesses an intrinsic desire to please. An intelligent and independent thinker, he displays determination and a strong sense of purpose while at work. A dog of dignity, the Clumber Spaniel may sometimes seem aloof with people unknown to him, but in time will display his playful and loving nature.

Tucker will only be adopted as a valued inside family member. Tucker would love children to play with.
