Troy landed in the Hudson Valley after a tough few years in Philadelphia, and is eager to find a soft place to call home. His previous owner loved him very much, but had an unstable housing situation that made it impossible for him to give Troy a consistent home.
Troy is a total sweetheart who loves nothing more than going for a relaxing walk. He is great on a leash and so happy to explore the beautiful Hudson Valley after arriving from the big city!
Troy loves other dogs and has a calm energy about him that can be comforting to some of our more anxious pups. He's a big baby, too - he cries when he sees people around because he's so keen to cuddle up with them. His skin is in rough shape after bouncing back and forth between the shelter and living outside, but he is getting excellent treatment by our vet and is on the up-and-up!
Troy is pretty much perfect in every way. What are you waiting for?
