My fur might be turning gray, but I'm young at heart. I'm Trooper, a handsome salt n pepper friend and I'm ready to spend my retirement with you. I came to High Country Humane because my owner couldn't care for me anymore. I'm just focused on where I'll spend my golden years. I should tell you a bit about myself. I'm as easy to please as I am gentle. And one of my favorite things to do is spending time outside, I love hikes! I've previously lived with dogs and cats. For an old man, I have a lot of spunk. I LOVE to play with other dogs and go on walks. If I sound like your next pal, then come meet me! I want to show you how laid-back four-legged living is done. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
