My Story

Trooper is just that...he has been such a trooper with the things life dealt him for the past 6 months. Trooper is a 6 month old red-nosed Pit Bull Terrier. He was abandoned at our Vet's office after he was treated for being severely neglected. He came in with his flesh rotting off of his body. He was living in a crate that was too small for him to even sit up in. He got sick and had diarrhea, he was left to sit in that for days, flies were all over him and by the time someone dropped him off at the Vet's office his wounds and rotting flesh were full of maggots. I know this is gross but this is what that boy had to endure. He is healing nicely and will be available for adoption once he heals.

It is also apparent that Trooper has not had anyone spend any time with him...he was starved for attention. He is a happy boy, is learning how to walk on a leash, and how to play with other dogs his size. Trooper is eager to learn and loves being petted. He has such a happy face. If you love this breed and are looking for a new family member---look no further...here is a wonderful little guy.

Update 6-6-10: Trooper has healed very well, has learned ow to play and is a happy, growing boy. Trooper is a very sweet boy.
