Trooper is a very unique dog. He looks like a purebred basenji except for his tail which is not curled and the fact that he can bark very well. He is about 1 year old and is sleek and cleancut looking. He is also quite the athelete. Trooper came from a high kill shelter in Texas and was just a skeleton when he arrived. He went right from the pet transport to the veterinarian. He was so weak and so skinny that we all thought he wouldn't survive. Today he's in great shape and ready for his forever home. He loves people and is good with most other animals once he gets to know them. He would love to go jogging or for hikes with his new guardians. Because of his previous malnourished state, he will probably do best with a high quality grain free dog food. Trooper is a special boy that deserves a special family to love him.
He has been neutered, shots up-to-date, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. His adoption fee of $400 includes his $125 transport fee to CT. If you are seriously interested in Trooper please request a questionnaire and return it to Little Souls Foundation. CT adoptions only .
