A partner rescue contacted Misty Eyes about an emergency intake...a little senior Chihuahua-mix male dog who had been on the run for several weeks. No one claimed him, and he seemed to need medical care. Misty Eyes brought Trooper in so that he could get the care he needed. He is estimated to be about 11 years old and is missing many teeth, as well as part of his jaw bone. He also had a rather large mass on his right hip, which proved to be benign. He is a real love-bug who is a serious lap dog. He gets along with other dogs and even met a cat without being bothered. Now that he's fixed up and is in relatively good health, Trooper will make a wonderful companion pup.
