Trixie Tatum

TRIXIE TATUM is almost a year old and looks to be some type of red shepherd boxer mix (actually DNA test says mix of a lot of things but more boxer and cattle dog than others). She's a very shy pup at first with new people and things, but warms up with a time and patience. Her foster is working on leash training with her, and it's going well, but she needs a fenced in yard for her safety. Trixie's learned some commands like sit and stay, and go potty. Also, "give kisses". She loves to run around the fenced in yard with her doggy foster siblings (not a fan of cats, though!). Because of her shyness, though, we're looking for a home with no kids under 12 for Trixie, as youger kids' activity level and unpredictability can really freak her out. Trixie loves her some couch and bed cuddles, and is waiting for her special someone who can give her lots of patience and attention - she'll reward you with unconditional love for life! And her confidence IS growing every single day in her fantastic foster home! Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available. PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
