Trixie is a survivor of distemper, weighs approximately 45 Lbs. and is about 3 years old. She is very affectionate and loves to play and although she seems a little rough at times, she is not aggressive. Her original owner basically just threw her out on the street. She of course got pregnant and had 11 puppies, none of which survived. When she became pregnant again, with the owner’s permission we did spay her, but when we attempted to return her, the woman refused to take her back. Obviously we couldn’t abandon her, so our rescuer took her home.
Trixie would be a great playmate for a dog her size. She truly deserves a family that will care for her and not abandon her.
