After being rescued form the gas chambers of MO. She was skin and bones totally neglected forced to fend for herself in a pack of dogs she was never loved until she came to NYC. Sadly now her plans for long walks, shelter,food and love are all over. Trixie's mom was in a major car accident and is expected to be hospitalized for MONTHS ..Sadly she has no one to look after Trixie and will lose her home as well. This amazing 1 yr old shepherd mix is just a love she is devoted to her caregiver. House broken calm and sweet. She is weary of new people but with proper introductions warms up nicely. She has not been around other dogs in a while we hope for a home of her own. Her mom called me from her hospital bed worried more about Trixie then her own recovery. Please help us find her a new home!. She has full medical and wonderful house manners even good in a crate. she needs to find a place ASAP..
