Hi there, my name is Trixie and I am an adorable little female Dachshund mix, 2 years old, 13 lbs and I was a stray dog in Canyon Lake Texas, picked up and sent to the animal shelter, but it hasn't fazed me one bit. I’m just a sweet, friendly, happy girl who loves attention and making new friends. I was quickly taken in by 4 Little Paws Rescue, so I am living in a foster home while I get ready to be adopted. I am very social towards people and kids, and love being carried around like a princess, sometimes dancing on my hind legs when I’d like to be picked up. I get along with other dogs and don't cause a ruckus, but I like to be the pack leader and make sure everyone is nice to me. I LOVE going for walks and adventures to sniff and explore, walking nicely on a leash and harness, with only occasional pulling if I smell something I can't resist. When I’m feeling extra happy I’m running zoomies around the house wearing the biggest smile on my face, but equally fun is just snuggling beside you on the couch to watch our favorite movies. I’m very well-balanced between fun and relaxation, and will always brake for affection.
