Trisket

Updated on June 16th: Well the vets gave me a total checkup and took lots of x-rays. I have been told that my right kneecap becomes dislocated (luxating patella) and my left kneecap is permanently out of place. I am still able to get around but the vet said I have to have surgery to fix me up and to not cause any other damage. The vet estimates the surgery to be $1,500 to fix both rear legs. My name is Trisket and I am about a year and a half old. I am a darling little girl and I weigh 14 lbs. My foster dad saw me out on the side of a country road. The nearest house was about a mile and a half away. He was working on his job at the time and due to that he is not permitted to pick up animals as he is on the company clock. He did go and get me some food and water and brought that back to me. Once his work day was over he headed back to where I was seen to look for me. He did not have to look far as I was still where I was when he first spotted me. I guess I was dumped there by my "humans" and I was waiting for them to come back. Lucky for me though... my foster dad came back to get me instead. I was taken straight to the vet because I have hair loss and a limp/bow leg on the left leg. Of course the vets said I have mange and I am being treated for that. Also, my limp is most likely due to an old injury but I have no issues with getting around or running.
