Trinket

Hi there lovely people. My name is Trinket and I am a female Shih-Tzu/poodle mix born approximately 7/07. I am up to date on shots, have been spayed and am current on heartworm preventative. I was brought to a local animal control shelter by my owner, um, let’s just say "this person" who decided I was not worthy enough for life. Well, early April Fool to her, because I was scooped up by this great lady who does think I’m worthy and promised she’d find the family lucky enough to own me. I get along with cats (or let’s just say they let me know when to leave them alone), like trying to play with dogs, love to run around and am really enjoying toys. Foster mom said to tell you that I love to be held, cuddled, lay in laps, nap on the sofa and be loved. I do fine on a leash and am proud to say that (when brought outside ample times during the day) have not had any doggy accidents. I am somewhat of a velcro dog and bond with my humans very quickly. Foster mom seems to think that I wasn’t treated too nicely at "that person’s home" because I cower sometimes when I’m getting petted and with loud noises, so a home with small children would not be recommended.
