This beautiful long haired doxie mix was living in horrible conditions outside with very little humane contact. She was found with 8-10 large labs in some of the coldest Arkansas weather this year. She had to fight for every scrap of food and did it with a brand new littler of pups. This little girl has come a long way and is as sweet as they come. She just LOVES to be loved. She is now looking for someone to give her the good life for as long as she lives. She is about 1-2 years old and very submissive. She would probably do best in a quiet home with adults who can pamper her and give her lots of time. She weighs about 15 lbs. and would probably do well with another mellow small dog. One of the pictures shows her with her friend, a small female mix that is also available for adoption. She ignores cats. She has been spayed, heartworm checked, wormed, frontlined, microchipped and been put on heartworm preventative. She is good in a crate when unsupervised. Her adoption fee is $350 which includes the $125 transport fee to get her from Arkansas to CT. All adoption fees are used to rescue additional animals in need . Little Souls Foundation requires a home visit to ensure a safe environment, vet references, and a filled out adoption questionnaire. Adoptions are usually restricted to CT.
